Nonsensia

Welcome to Nonsensia, your trusted brand for high-quality chemical reagents. To ensure safety, compliance, and optimal usage of our products, we have outlined the following essential rules and guidelines. Please review these carefully before handling any Nonsensia chemical reagents.

1. General Safety Guidelines

  • Always read the product label and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed information about the chemical reagent.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, goggles, and lab coats, when handling chemical reagents.
  • Work in a well-ventilated area or under a fume hood to minimize exposure to harmful vapors or dust.
  • Keep chemicals away from food, drinks, and personal items to prevent contamination.

2. Storage Rules

  • Store Nonsensia chemical reagents in their original containers with labels intact.
  • Follow temperature and humidity requirements specified on the product label or SDS.
  • Keep incompatible chemicals separate to prevent hazardous reactions.
  • Ensure all storage areas are secure and out of reach of unauthorized personnel, especially children.

3. Handling Instructions

  • Handle all reagents with care, avoiding spills or splashes.
  • Use designated tools, such as pipettes or scoops, to transfer chemicals.
  • Never return unused reagents to the original container to avoid contamination.
  • Dispose of waste materials according to local regulations and guidelines.

4. Emergency Procedures

  • In case of accidental exposure, follow the first-aid instructions provided in the SDS.
  • For spills, use appropriate spill containment and cleanup methods as outlined in the SDS.
  • Report all accidents and incidents to the relevant authority or supervisor immediately.

5. Compliance and Legal Obligations

  • Ensure you are aware of and comply with all local, state, and national regulations regarding the use, storage, and disposal of chemical reagents.
  • Do not use Nonsensia products for any purpose other than those specified by the manufacturer.

6. Training and Documentation

  • Ensure that all personnel handling Nonsensia chemical reagents have received appropriate training in chemical safety.
  • Maintain proper records of chemical inventory, usage, and disposal for accountability and compliance.

7. Incorrectly Picked or Incomplete Orders

We dispatch a high volume of orders, and every order is assembled by hand from a large catalogue of reagents. At that volume an occasional mistake is realistic rather than exceptional — a wrong item picked, a missing position, or a container that does not match the order line. We would rather state this openly than pretend it never happens, and we correct it quickly and at our own cost.

If what arrived does not match what you ordered, please write to [email protected] and always attach photographs showing:

  • everything you received, laid out together, exactly as it arrived;
  • the label on every container, readable in the photograph;
  • the outer packaging together with the shipping label.

Please quote your order number in the message. The photographs are what allow us to reconstruct which batch was picked and to confirm the error on our side without a long exchange of messages — with them, most cases are settled the same working day. Without them we cannot establish what actually left our facility, and the case stalls.

If the mistake is ours, we ship the missing or correct items to you at our expense. You are not asked to pay a second time and you are not asked to cover any return.

Please do not send anything back to the sender address printed on the parcel. That address is a dispatch point only and it does not receive returned mail — a parcel sent back to it will simply not reach us. We will not be able to recover it, and we will have no confirmation that you sent it, which puts your case in a worse position than leaving the items with you. If a physical return is genuinely required in your case, we will give you the correct return address and instructions in our reply. Please wait for that reply before sending anything.

8. Orders We Cannot Fulfil, and Refunds

We run bulk syntheses; we are not a warehouse reselling finished stock. Batches are produced, tested and released in cycles, so a given reagent — or a given quantity of it — may genuinely be unavailable at the moment your order reaches us, even though the store accepted that order. This is a normal consequence of how our products are made, and we prefer to say so in advance rather than explain it afterwards.

When we cannot fulfil an order in full:

  • we ship every position that is available;
  • we contact you about the remainder and, unless you ask us to hold the order for the next batch, we refund the amount paid for the items we could not supply;
  • if we cannot fulfil the order at all, we refund it in full.

A refund is a process, not an instant reversal. It passes through our accounting and then through the payment provider or the bank, and each of those steps runs on its own schedule that we do not control. Please allow up to 14 days from the moment we confirm the refund for the funds to appear on your account. In most cases it is faster, but 14 days is the period to plan for before asking us about a refund that has not yet arrived.

9. Shipments Sent as Standard (Untracked) Mail

Some orders are sent as ordinary, untracked letter mail. That option is cheaper precisely because it carries no tracking number and no carrier confirmation of delivery: once the item is handed over to the postal operator, neither we nor you can follow it, and the operator will not issue proof of delivery for it.

For that reason we do not issue refunds or replacements for orders shipped as standard untracked mail that fail to arrive. Selecting this shipping method means accepting that risk, and it is the reason its price is lower. If you need carrier-verified proof of posting and delivery, please choose a tracked or registered shipping method at checkout.

Every parcel is photographed before dispatch. Each packed order is documented — its contents and the addressed packaging — before it leaves us. For untracked mail that photograph is the only evidence of dispatch we are able to present, and we will always provide it on request. It documents what was packed and sent; it cannot document what the postal operator did afterwards.

At Nonsensia, safety and quality are our top priorities. By adhering to these rules, you can ensure a safe and productive environment when using our chemical reagents. For further assistance or inquiries, please contact our support team.
